Project Graduation

Project Graduation is an all night, alcohol and drug free party for high school seniors to provide them a safe alternative to alcohol and drugs after Graduation. It is an unfortunate fact that the probability of teens being involved in an alcohol or drug related incident is much higher on Prom Night and Graduation Night than in any other night of their teen years. The primary goal of Project Graduation is to have an "Alcohol and Drug Free Night to Remember."

Important Dates for DSHS Project Graduation 2009:

Senior Parents - Project Graduation 2009:

We have a time and place for Graduation 2008: Friday, June 5, 2009 ??:00 p.m. at Shoreline Center. The after graduation celebration will take place at Main Event Entertainment in north Austin. Permission forms are being mailed May 6th to the parents/guardians of each senior. The permission forms must be returned to Project Graduation 2008 no later May 19th. After the permission form is received by PG08, the senior will be allowed to sign up for the bus they would like to take to and from the event.

Junior Parents - Project Graduation 2010:

The PG2010 committee is starting to plan for the big event. At the September 2007 General PTSA meeting, Kristi Greene and Vicky Metzger were approved as co-chairs for the committee. The Treasurer's position is open. Please contact the high school PTSA if you are interested in helping with this important office.
