Email in Dripping Springs ISD is essential in communication within and outside the district. Within the district, FirstClass allows us to share information, communicate with each other, and receive information from outside the district.
Parents and others who wish to contact district staff may do so by sending mail to the district. At this time, we do not publish an email directory on web pages while we research methods to publicize addresses while protecting district staff from spam messages.
Email addresses are consistent throughout the district, being of the form
firstname.lastname@dripping-springs.txed.net
Teachers are encouraged to send their email address home with students, and knowing the staff member's first and last name will help in locating the correct email address. However, though the staff member may be known as Deb Tiger, the name listed in the directory may be deb.tiger or debbie.tiger, debbi.tiger, or another variation.
If the person's name is Billy Ray Tiger, then the email address would be
billy.ray.tiger@dripping-springs.txed.net
However, there have been some exceptions to this plan (such as duplicate names) so should mail be returned to the sender, please contact the campus for the correct information. In addition, many staff members have created web pages and email addresses may be found on some of these web areas.
