About My Class:
8th grade social studies is a survey course that spans American history from it's Native and European beginnings in 1607 and closes with the end of Reconstruction following the  US Civil War.  Involved students will be prepared for success on not only the Social Studies TAKS Test on April 28, 2008, but also in class all year long.  Parents, please check your student's assignment log daily to stay informed of upcoming quizzes, exams, and projects.  I strongly encourage parents to use Skyward Parental Access to monitor student progress often.
