Information
Tiger Assignment Book is filled
out on a daily basis. Work done in class will be noted. Incompleted
class work will be circled in Red ink and will become part of their
homework. Homework will be written in Red ink. If I feel I need to
write a simple communication to you, I will do so in the Tiger. I will
initial their Tiger each day to make sure they have copied it
correctly. Your job is to review their Tiger with them, make sure all
homework is done and sign their Tiger every night. A Conduct Color
Block will be marked each day in their Tiger. A Tiger Stamp Code Key
will be placed in their Tiger to understand color blocks.
Tiger Pride Folders go home
every 2 weeks on Friday. Please review all their graded work and keep
at home. Sign folder and return on Monday or the following school day.
Homework Folder will go
home Mon. - Thurs. containing homework and classwork not completed.

Assignments to expect on a weekly
basis:
Daily Language Review
Daily Math Review
Daily Handwriting Review
Spelling - Weekly list. Spelling Test every Friday.
Weekly Story - sent home every Monday. It is a short reading assignment
that you and your child will work on together and return by Tuesday.
Math homework - (Mon. -Thurs.) unless noted in
in the Tiger.
Science and Social Studies - Taught separately in 45 min. blocks. Very
little homework except when doing projects. Chapter Tests will be
announced at least 4 days before test date.
Health - taught one day a week during Science.
