Jim and Duke continue looking for the Disappearing Kerragan. After about an hour Jim doubleovers in pain. He drops to the ground after 1 minute of groaning and moaning. Kerragan pops into view just as fast as she left. She looks down at the motionless Jim. She reaches down and checks his pulse. "He's dead." Kerragan says to the Alpha Squadron. "Where-? How-? Aaw forget it." Duke says astonished. Before Kerragan can remove her hand, Jim reaches up and grabs it. "Ah!" Kerragan yells as she sees that Jim isn't dead. She quickly pulls out her canister rifle and plants a shot right in the forehead. A few hours later, back at the station, Kerragan and her group as well as Duke are debriefed on what happened after Kerragan disappeared. Basically," begins Kerragan," I didn't disappear. I just popped into Jim's head. Then I started attacking his nerve system. Don't forget, I can disappear." After a week of piece, an alien cruiser/carrier lands at a dock on Earth's moon.
