Instructions For Submitting a Literary
Piece To:
The Spring
Dripping Springs Middle School's Online
Literary Magazine
1) First, log on to your
server:
- Make sure your literary piece is edited,
titled, and ready for submission.
- Inside your document, you MUST INCLUDE
your
name
(First and Last),
pen
name,
and a
brief
paragraph
about who you are (interests, hobbies, etc.) and why you wrote
this piece, or what inspired you to write it.
- The FILE NAME of your literary piece must
say: "Lastname,
Firstname_Title" (your real name and
title of your literary work)
2) Next, you must log
on to YOUR SERVER a SECOND TIME in order to open up the dropbox in
which you will place your literary piece.
- On the next menu, select "DROPBOXES" and
click "OK". If you don't see "DROPBOXES" listed, scroll down until
it appears. The "DROPBOXES" icon will appear on the
desktop.
- Double click the "DROPBOXES" icon. The list
of dropboxes will appear. And now for the important
part…
3) DRAG YOUR LITERARY PIECE
(that you are submitting to The Spring) FROM YOUR SERVER
FOLDER INTO THE DROPBOX TITLED "The Spring Dropbox".
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE NOW
A PUBLISHED WRITER!
NOTE: If you have any problems or questions,
come see Mr. Robinson in room 611.
IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING A
LITERARY PIECE FROM HOME, attach it to
the email and send it to adam.robinson@dripping-springs.txed.net.
