By Trolly McFolly
When offered one wish, she asked for wings.
To fly, to soar
To join the heavens in their divine song.
Her imagination raced with ideas and dreams.
The wind whirling, swirling,
The vast, blue sky surrounding,
But open for her exploration.
She requested again to confirm her dream,
And light exploded from her shoulders,
Blinding and infinite.
The feathery addition was pure and white as snow.
Feeling an angelic emotion, she opened her arms wide.
Running then jumping, she tested her wings,
But fell promptly on her head.
