When the Dawning Came

By Lumberjack

Soon the dawning came,

But fear didnít leave.

Horns sounded as light spread.

People rushed to the walls,

To see why the horns blew.

Questions were answered,

As fear ran up peopleís spines.

An army surrounded them.

Enemies lined the plane,

Preparing to unleash fear.

Fear dwelled in the rocks,

Flying from catapults.

Fear dwelled in the weapons,

Clutched by the enemy.

Fear surrounded the city

Embedded in enemies.

Soldiers rallied together.

Fearless as they all were,

Fear entered their minds,

Telling them that doom would come.

Yes they feared the enemy,

But masks were put on,

To calm fellow comrades,

In the war to come.
